I went to my mother’s house to visit while I was there my car broke down. I parked the car and went to work. My co worked needed a ride so we walked back to my car it started raining the car wouldn’t start at first then it did and I took my co worker home. Then I parked my car. After work I ran into an old friend I wanted to have sex with. My wife was at work and she called me. I got off the phone with her and called my old friend and told her I wanted to come see her. I ended up back in my mom’s neighborhood heading to the old friends house. I knew we were going to have sex but I woke up before I got to her house
Dreams often reflect our thoughts, feelings, and experiences, intertwining various aspects of our lives. Let's break down some elements of your dream and what they might symbolize:
Mother’s House: Your mother's house can represent comfort, safety, and nurturing aspects of your life. It might indicate a desire to return to a place of emotional security or to seek advice from your past.
Car Broken Down: Cars typically symbolize control and direction in life. A car breaking down can signify feelings of being stuck or losing control in your current situation, whether in your personal or professional life.
Walking and Rain: The act of walking may suggest a journey or transition you are undergoing. Rain often symbolizes emotional release or cleansing. This could point to feelings of uncertainty or emotional challenges in your life.
Co-worker and Ride: Involving your co-worker in the dream might indicate work-related dynamics or social interactions that are front and center in your life. The need to help or connect with others could reflect your current social environment.
Old Friend and Temptation: The appearance of an old friend you desire can symbolize unresolved feelings or a longing for past relationships. It might reflect an exploration of your own desires or temptations that conflict with your current commitments.
Phone Call to Your Wife: This suggests a sense of responsibility or loyalty to your current relationship, creating a juxtaposition between your desire and your obligations. The fact that your wife is at work while you are contemplating going to see another woman can embody feelings of conflict or guilt.
Waking Up Before Arrival: Waking up before reaching your destination suggests unresolved issues or desires in your life. It may symbolize that you’re at a crossroads, moving between different parts of your identity or life choices.
Overall, this dream seems to navigate themes of obligation versus desire, control versus feeling trapped, and the interplay between past and present relationships. It might be an invitation to reflect on your current priorities, emotional needs, and whether you are addressing or suppressing any conflicting feelings in your life.
